The Freshwater parts of the Logan River is currently graded by the SEQ Healthy WAterways report card program as a "D+". The Logan River contributes an unusually large amount of sediment and nutrients to Southern Moreton Bay. Currently there are 3 major reports which correlate this monitoring information:
Recent rains have not flushed the Teviot Brook "clean" - algae builds up on the water surface just upstream of Cedar Grove Weir (Oct, 2008).
