The Freshwater parts of the Logan River is currently graded by the SEQ Healthy WAterways report card program as a "D+".  The Logan River contributes an unusually large amount of sediment and nutrients to Southern Moreton Bay. 

 Currently there are 3 major reports which correlate this monitoring information:
1) The State of the South-east Queensland Waterways report (Abal, et al, 2001);
2) The Ecosystem Health Monitoring Program 2004-2005 Annual Report, (MBWCP, 2005), More information on this program can be found if you follow the links below:

Recent rains have not flushed the Teviot Brook "clean" - algae builds up on the water surface just upstream of Cedar Grove Weir (Oct, 2008).
